Established New PPM Office
Architected and implemented a new Program and Product Management Office, establishing governance, policies, and defining roles and responsibilities for ensuring delivery success at a healthcare company. Designed an improved end-to-end program and project tracking process and dashboards to reduce management access to budgets, LOEs, and timelines from weeks to real-time, resulting in savings of 700 hours a year in manual work.
Oversaw Large Technology Portfolio
Oversaw $30+M portfolio of IT initiatives for tracking and reporting by 7 portfolio, program, and project managers in the Global CIO organization of a Fortune 20 company. This portfolio included hundreds of products, programs, and projects for modernization, enterprise business process automation, GenAI / ML, and cloud migration. Elevated reporting to executive level by enhancing reports, improving quality, refining KPIs, and expanding value generation specifications.
Directed Client Implementation Programs
Directed teams of product and project managers while overseeing the delivery of 25+ large customer implementation projects at an enterprise software company. Customer deliveries were made on time, within budgets, and exceeded customer expectations.
Controlled PMLC
Translated business vision and goals into long-term product strategy, roadmaps, and short-term delivery plans and KPIs for a healthcare company application development project. Managed Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) against strict enterprise procedures, processes, and policies including project plans, budgets, scope, schedules, risks & issues. Reported progress weekly to internal and external stakeholders in this highly-regulated industry project.
Managed Program Budget
Oversaw the implementation of a large national network of 30+ ERP/CRM systems for higher education in Finland with budget accountability. Managed program and project plans, scopes, schedules, and risks, as well as customer and external partner relationships. Delivered client implementations on time with high customer satisfaction.
