Established New PPM Office
Architected and implemented a new Program and Product Management Office with governance policies, objectives, roles, and responsibilities for a healthcare company. Designed an improved end-to-end program and project tracking process to reduce portfolio and management access to budgets, LOEs, and timelines from weeks to real-time and save 700 hours/year in manual work. Expanded Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to solution level with two release trains and established new PI planning and product management processes.
Oversaw Large Technology Portfolio
Oversaw $35M portfolio of digital initiatives for tracking and reporting by 7 portfolio, program, and project managers in the Global CIO organization of a Fortune Top 20 insurance company. This portfolio included two $10M programs and 200 projects for claims processing modernization, enterprise business process automation, and cloud migration. Elevated reporting quality to executive level consumption with enhanced articulation, improved KPIs, and clearer value generation results.
Directed Client Implementation Programs
Directed teams of product and project managers while overseeing the delivery of 25+ large customer implementation projects at an enterprise software company. Customer deliveries were made on time, within budgets, and exceeded customer expectations.
Controlled PMLC
Translated business vision and goals into long-term product strategy, roadmaps, and short-term delivery plans and KPIs for a healthcare company application development project. Managed Project Management Lifecycle (PMLC) against strict enterprise procedures, processes, and policies including project plans, budgets, scope, schedules, risks & issues. Reported progress weekly to internal and external stakeholders in this highly-regulated industry project.
Managed P&L
Directed the implementation of a large national network of 30+ ERP/CRM systems for higher education in Finland with budget and P&L accountability. Managed program and project plans, schedules, budgets, and risks, as well as customer and external partner relationships. Delivered client implementations on time with high customer satisfaction and turned operation profitable.
